PCOL Yupio Takes Decisive Action in Laguna
Laguna, Philippines — One of the initial steps taken by newly appointed Provincial Director of the Laguna Police Provincial Office (PPO), Police Colonel Jonar R. Yupio, is the implementation of key visibility and accessibility measures in all police stations across the province.
Under PCOL Yupio's directive, each police station is now required to have a visible presence of officers, clear directional signages, and functioning police station blinkers. This initiative aims to make it easier and faster for citizens to locate police stations whenever they need immediate assistance or wish to file a report.
These visibility improvements also serve as a strong deterrent to criminal activity, emphasizing the constant readiness of the Laguna police force to act promptly during emergencies or disturbances within the community. PCOL Yupio stressed that a well-marked and equipped police station sends a clear message of vigilance and public safety.
In addition to enhancing visibility, the Laguna PPO, under PCOL Yupio’s leadership, also distributed mobile phones to various police stations. These phones will be used for quick coordination, faster response times, and open communication with the public.
The provision of these mobile devices is part of a broader effort to strengthen the responsiveness and connectivity of the Laguna police force. The move ensures that officers are always reachable, particularly in urgent situations requiring police intervention.
