Biñan City Welcomes New Leadership, Celebrates Smooth Transition of Power
Biñan City, LAGUNA -ushered in a new era of governance on June 27, 2025, as newly elected officials formally assumed their posts. The ceremony, presided over by Senate President Francis “Chiz” Escudero, marked a significant moment for the city, characterized by both the excitement of fresh leadership and the graceful transition of power.
Mayor-elect Angelo “Gel” Alonte and Vice Mayor-elect Jonalina “Dada” Reyes, along with other newly elected officials, took their oaths of office, officially commencing their terms on June 30th. Mayor Alonte expressed deep gratitude to his family and the citizens of Biñan for their unwavering support throughout his campaign. He emphasized his commitment to serving the community diligently and effectively.
