Camp BGen Vicente P Lim - Personnel from the Regional Headquarters of Police Regional Office CALABARZON actively participated in today’s Daily PNP Personnel Accounting Report (DPPAR), hosted by the Office of the Regional Intelligence Division and held at the PRO 4A Covered Court, Camp BGen Vicente P. Lim, Calamba City.
During the activity, a Police Information and Continuing Education (PICE) was conducted, during which administrative announcements were made. The Office of the Regional Operations Division presented the “Policies on Carrying Firearms” in connection with the Gun Ban for the 2025 Midterm National and Local Elections, scheduled from January 12 to June 11, 2025. To further guide personnel, the Office of the Regional Intelligence Division shared sample forms and detailed procedures for applying for threat assessments, particularly regarding firearm exemption applications for the upcoming elections. These efforts aim to ensure compliance with the prescribed guidelines, reinforcing the importance of lawful firearm possession during the election period.
Meanwhile, the newly appointed Deputy Regional Director for Operations, PCOL Dominic L Baccay, provided valuable guidance on operational preparations for the 2025 elections. He emphasized the importance of returning to the basics and consistently consulting the PNP Police Operational Procedures (POP) to ensure that operations are conducted efficiently and lawfully.
Similarly, the newly appointed Deputy Regional Director for Administration, PCOL Melvin G Napiloy, reminded all personnel to uphold respect for the police uniform and maintain the cleanliness of their workplaces. He reiterated the principle of “going back to basics” to uphold integrity and excellence in performing their duties.
